I ran a pet care business for years. Scheduling and drive time were my big pain points.

My name is Corinne Moore. For years I owned and ran a pet care business, and the schedule was where the money went. Every sitter crossing town twice, every gap between visits, every half hour in the car was paid labor that no client was paying for.

Driving is one of the biggest costs a pet care company has, and it hides. It is not a line on any invoice. It shows up as payroll that runs higher than the visits justify, sitters who are worn out by the afternoon, and days that only work because someone rebuilt them by hand.

I rebuilt those days by hand for a long time. Everything I needed was already in Time To Pet: who was working, where the clients were, when they wanted us. Nothing was putting it together.

So I founded Everjade, which is a portmanteau of my children's names, and with the help of my husband, we built Route Companion. It reads what Time To Pet already knows and answers the question it does not: who should go where, and in what order, for less driving and the fewest changes.

These days I also keep the books for pet care companies and coach on data and metrics inside DogCo, so I see the same pattern in other owners' numbers every month.
